Santee has not expirenced natural disasters like hurricanes ,tsunamis, mudslides, tornados, or cyclones.However,it has expirenced earthquakes and landslides.Earthquakes in Santee aren't alot of damage though.The things you have to are landslides.landslides occur usally in canyons, mountains,very steep hills,and near water sources .Here is a list of things that show evidence of a landslide that might occur in the future:

- Are the retaining walls cracked,tilted,or off-set?
- Have any structures such as concrete steps moved away from the house?
